TERMS & CONDITIONS (STAY AT THE RESORT)

These Terms apply to all guests staying at Rainforest Athirapally.

1. Reservations & Rates

  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • Confirmation is valid only upon receipt of the required advance payment.
  • All rates are subject to applicable GST and government levies.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in and check-out timings will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for all guests at check-in.
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

3. Guest Conduct

  • Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect the privacy of others.
  • Guests must follow resort rules and safety instructions.
  • Guests must avoid behavior that disturbs other guests or the natural environment.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or request early departure in cases of misconduct, without refund.

4. Property Damage

  • Guests will be financially responsible for any loss or damage caused to resort property during their stay.

5. Food, Alcohol & Safety

  • Alcoholic beverages are not served on the property.
  • Outside food and beverages are restricted and may attract corkage charges.
  • Use of drones is permitted only with valid government approval.
  • Trekking and outdoor activities are allowed only with authorised resort guides.

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • The resort shall not be liable for loss or theft of personal belongings.
  • The resort shall not be liable for injuries arising from guest negligence.
  • The resort shall not be liable for natural events or circumstances beyond reasonable control (force majeure).

7. Special Room & Facility Notes

  • Wheelchair access is available only in Premium and Celestial Rooms.
  • One child below 6 years may stay complimentary with parents.
  • The resort is not pet-friendly.
  • Tree House accommodation is restricted to two adults only. Children are discouraged for safety reasons. Tree House does not have intercom or room service facilities.
  • The resort serves authentic Kerala cuisine only, with a curated fixed menu.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Jurisdiction: Ernakulam, Kerala.
